The Concerned Cooperators is a community Service organization of long standing, established almost 44 years ago. Our mission then, as it is now, is to implement and support programs that will build our community so that it will remain the best run cooperative in New York. We are committed to serving all cooperators by working hard and together to achieve and maintain a level of financial success so that we can remain a middle income Mitchell Lama Co-op. We provide experienced leadership to the Board of Directors and our members are committed to making decisions that will insure our financial stability and essential services throughout our community. We expect to be the organization that all cooperators can trust, support and have confidence in that we will continue to employ the best management team, dedicated to manage Rochdale Village so that we can grow and prosper as a community. We will not only listen to all cooperators, but we will embrace your ideas that will help to improve the quality of life and will make our community a better place to live. We select our candidates from all organizations in Rochdale who are committed to working hard together, experienced, diligent and compassionate. Our coalition of Concerned Candidates will continue to provide the experienced leadership you can trust.

Rochdale Village Independent Legends was founded in 2008 by Jean Randolph Castro, President and Joe Evans, Vice President. Our mission is to provide service to all cooperators so that they can enjoy the finest quality of life, fair and equal opportunity for affordable and better housing. By working together with the management team and fellow Board members, we will help to develop sound fiscal policies and innovative security systems that will make our community a safe, secure and financially sound development.
We will provide leadership in securing and implementing quality educational and recreational programs for our seniors, youth and young adults. We will continue to work closely with other organizations within Rochdale to insure that all cooperators needs are met. We are committed to hard work, integrity and honesty. All our decisions will be based on what is in the best interest of all cooperators.
OUR MOTTO IS: YOU DESERVE THE BEST! ACCEPT NOTHING LESS!
Civic association

The Rochdale Village Civic Association was founded on February 2, 1995 by Clifton Stanley Diaz, the group’s President.
The Civic Association attempts to inform the cooperators of important community matters so that they can better understand policy changes and issues which affect our community. They continue to work tirelessly for our cooperators by making sure that Rochdale Village receives its fair share of management, city, state and federal services by providing public review of all community matters.
Our Meetings are held on the Third Sunday of the Month at 3 P.M. in the Community Room of Building 10.
Cooperators are encouraged to be active in their community affairs: Come Out, Be Involved, Be Informed and Be Heard!
